You are cordially invited to a brand new choral festival being held in southwestern Indiana this winter. I encourage
you to consider adding A Day in Paradise to your schedule for the upcoming season. Our first annual invitational at
Castle High School in Paradise, Indiana, A Day in Paradise promises to be a fun and exciting experience filled with
high-energy performances, outstanding vocals and dancing, and the best competition from a multi-state field of
competitors.

A suburb of Evansville (Indiana’s third-largest city), Paradise is close to all of the amenities of the city but hasn’t lost
its small town hospitality. Nestled in southwestern Indiana, we are located within 3.5 hours of several bigger cities;
including Indianapolis, IN; Louisville, KY; St. Louis, MO; Nashville, TN; and Cincinnati, OH. What a fantastic
experience for your kids! Where else can you find the potential for this level of diversity in competition outside of a
national choral competition?

A Day in Paradise will host five divisions (entries permitting) and is an ISSMA qualifying site for the Women’s and
Mixed Championship Divisions. Divisions and fee schedules are as follows:

  • Middle School Concert Choir                              Friday, February 11                  $50/ensemble
  • High School Concert Choir                                 Saturday, February 12               $75/ensemble
  • Solo (limit of two/ensemble)                               Saturday, February 12               $20/soloist
  • Women’s Championship Show Choir                  Saturday, February 12               $250/Choir
  • Mixed Championship Show Choir                       Saturday, February 12               $250/Choir

Middle School Concert Choirs, Women’s Championship, and Mixed Championship Show Choir Divisions will compete
in our newly renovated auditorium. High School Concert Choirs will compete in our recently constructed music
facilities. Deadline for registration is October 20. Return your registration form and payment by September 20
and we will waive the fee for two soloists and give you two commemorative t-shirts at no charge. Space is
limited.

In addition to a great day of competition and entertainment, we will offer caption awards for Best Instrumentals, Best
